Netherland’s Designer Lotty Lindeman comes up with this super nice idea of some kind of suitcase storage – tasenkast. Maybe you don’t have as much space as on a regular rack, but you’ll definitly have the better eyecatcher. Thumbs up for this!

Four beautiful ladys from Providence, Helsinki, New Orleans and Brooklyn are egg collective. They are a some kind of virtual design studio and design, build and manufacture different objects. And the “stumped” pieces are really my favorites. I’m wondering where to get one of these… And it’s good to know that women still know how to do it right: “The majority of our designs are handcrafted by one or all of the members of the collective. Anything we cannot make ourselves we source out to local and small-scale manufacturers…”

Contemporary Rugs by John Deere

The John Deere rugs offers a snapshot of life in rural Scandinavia. Heavy machinery has long since replaced the labor of farm animals, leaving its trademark tracks in the grass and mud. The John Deere, on the other hand, imitates trampled turf (in green) or mud (in a brownish-grey). Made of New Zealand wool, the 5′ round rugs come from Norwegian designers Permafrost. These simple ideas are inspired by the Scandinavian winter, and are awesome for any contemporary interior. What’s your favorite ?

Wow. Nice alternative way to keep your rooms free of all wire-extensions and all that crap. And the best is, it looks really good. Looks like the perfect device for appliances such as vacuum cleaners and hair driers since you won’t need to purchase a dedicated extension cords then.
