Reebok x Fabolous – Classic Remix Footwear

Reebok has teamed up with Brooklyn rapper, Fabolous, to create a Classic Remix Footwear Collection of four different sneakers and a five city tour to celebrate the collection. The five cities that Reebok and Fabolous will be in include New York, New Orleans, Miami, Houston, and Atlanta. The four different footwear styles included in the collection are the SL 7010, Workout Hi, Tejara, and the Classic Leather. Each one of the classic Reebok footwear styles has been remixed using new materials and colors.

The dates of the Reebok Classic Remix Tour presented by Cornerstone Promotion and Foot Locker are:

New York City, NY – August 24th
New Orleans, LA – August 26th
Miami, FL – August 28th
Houston, TX – September 1st
Atlanta, GA- September 3rd

In a first ever footwear collaboration for Hypebeast, they team up with adidas on the debut of the cycling-inspired Zeitfrei model. The shoe features a suede upper with liberal amounts of understated 3M materials hidden under perforations and mesh. Three pairs of laces are included in yellow, gray, white and 3M. Complimenting the release is a hybrid Cordura shoebag messenger, cycling cap and a sling carry-all bag. Only 50 packs were created for retail. Get it now here

UBIQ eL Crash Hello Kitty

Japanese footwear brand UBIQ work up two new colorways in their signature eL sneakers. The shoes feature a Hello Kitty motif in two color schemes including a white quilted nylon and black rasta-colored canvas selection. Both are now available through atmos.

Kanye West Starting Sneaker Company

Two Fridays ago Kanye West and GLC appeared on BET’s 106 and Park to discuss music, upcoming projects, and the Nike Air Yeezy. While we reported on Friday that he proclaimed that Kanye had the hood in mind when designing the $215 Nike Air Yeezys and the $800+ Louis Vuitton sneakers, he did drop a little hint of an upcoming sneaker line that wasn’t previously discussed.

Speaking about his interview in Complex Magazine about the Nike Air Yeezy, Kanye stated the following:

“I wish Nike would give me a deal, I wish Louis would give me a deal. Since that hasn’t happened yet, I am in the process of making my own company from scratch to put out to my people.”

At this point we will have to wait to see what will come of this, but this sounds like an interesting move for Kanye.
