booji just came up with a brand video that highlights their Eye of the Tiger model, their home city San Francisco, CA, and as well the juxtaposition to the daily determination that takes place when running an independent footwear brand. The whole project arised in collaboration with Triplewide. Protagonist of the video is no one less than our westside homegirl Miss MDot aka Rocky Balboa herself, showing you how the one man army tries to accroach the world domination. The well known and let me say oldschool sneaker brand KangaRoos comes up with a sublabel called ROOS by Kangaroos. The classic KangaROOS models that are available now are communicated as KangaROOS “Red” and “Black”.

Founded in the late 70s, “SuperShoes” quickly became a household name and turned into one of the leading brands in the sports shoe segment. The special style of the KangaROOS of the early 80s manifested itself in many iconic running and basketball models that exerted an influence far beyond the decade. The “ROOS”, as Americans soon abbreviated the brand name, celebrated an enormous success.

Among the reasons was also the commitment in the NFL and NBA. Their most prominent ROOS testimonials were football player Walter “Sweetness” Payton and basketball legend Clyde “the Glide” Drexler.

I got forced by M.Dot from Booji to post this… hahha just kiddin’. Get a first look at the Holiday 2010 Collection by Booji. Featured model is the Regal-One WONDERLAND. Influenced by the Wonders of Imagination…& where it can take you. Blending the lines & fading the boundaries.

The material make-up is a mix of 8oz cotton canvas, pebble full grain leather, pro leather & drytex lining. As well combined with luxe details such as deco-quilt stitching (a Booji Signature) & reptile vegan-lining.

Paying tribute to the late King of Pop, Singaporean creatives Mark Ong aka SBTG and DJ Inquisitive team up to produce a limited run of custom Converse Chuck Taylors, adorned in a “Thriller” theme. The shoes feature a distressed motif combined with claw-rip details and tongue zippers. Produced in a limited run, the sneakers can now be reserved through Leftfoot in Singapore.

Previously known for her contributions to the brand JB Classics, M.Dot and her female line of footwear titled BOOJI will make an appearence later this year as we preview the Francisco style. The low-profile sneaker features a quilted upper in a purple and yellow colorway. The shoes are also produced with cruelty-free products with strong Vegan Cali undertones to the brand’s philosophy.

Since the last Bread & Butter Tradeshow I’ve been a fan of Gourmet. And now a well-known collaborator in the world of kicks, Undefeated once again make their presence felt with an upcoming collaboration alongside Gourmet, making its debut at the COMPASS Tradeshow in Vegas. Taking one of the brand’s minimalistic models, Undefeated work up a mostly white epi leather colorway with black midsoles/tongue and red laces. Their signature 5-strike logo is also embossed on the sneaker’s outer side panel. Nice & Simple.
